Job Description We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards. Duties & Responsibilities: 1.Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback 2.Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases 3.Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities 4.Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs 5.Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs 6.Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements 7.Monitor debugging process results 8.Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts 9.Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies Must Have: 1.1+years Proven work experience in software development 2.Proven work experience in software quality assurance 3.Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes 4.Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing 5.Hands-on experience with automated testing tools 6.Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus 7.BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
